A companion to [link] which I recommend reading first.
Basically, there was one future scene I was working on between Wren and SD, where SD sees him with his bow and arrow and wants him to show off for her, so she prompts and taunts him to try and get to him. Except he's so lost in thought and focused on some memories that he manages to completely ignore her, even when she praises him.
After watching his father get shot, Wren became hyper-defensive of him, having seen his father have a complete and total break down. He couldn't stand the thought of it happening again, or worse, an assassin who actually SUCCEEDS. So, he took up archery and has a perch where he watches the rest of his father's press conferences and public speeches (since they're all held in the city square) and he keeps his eyes open to try and protect his father.
I had a HUGE drawing muse once I finished writing the other bit, which resulted in me quickly drawing this up in a couple hours. I played around with a few things, tried some stuff, made it obvious I've never been to an art class/comicing class.
Also, Wren is no Hawkeye. He's a good shot, he almost always hits his target, but if it's too small or too far there's a high chance he'll miss. He can hit the center of a target, but not every single time. Hence why the arrow's a little off center.
That's just how I rooooooooooooll.
Advice and critique are always welcome, especially since this whole thing is pretty much one big experiment. (:

Ugh, GOD, I need to throw in another panel to tie this up, it looks terrible ending on that bullseye, but I don't have tiiiiiiime. FUCK. Just, imagine there's a sad Wren walking away or something until I can draw it in lol
